【摘要】:1.1Thesepracticescovertestproceduressimulatingfieldserviceforevaluatingtheperformanceundercorrosiveconditionsofmetalliccontainmentmaterialsinsolarheatingandcoolingsystems.Alltestresultsrelatetotheperformanceofthemetalliccontainmentmaterialonlyasapartofametal/fluidpair.Performanceinthesetestprocedures,takenbyitself,doesnotnecessarilyconstituteanadequatebasisforacceptanceorrejectionofaparticularmetal/fluidpairinsolarheatingandcoolingsystems,eitheringeneralorinaparticulardesign.1.2Thesepracticesdescribetestproceduresusedtoevaluatetheresistancetodeteriorationofmetalliccontainmentmaterialsintheseveralconditionsthatmayoccurinoperationofsolarheatingandcoolingsystems.Theseconditionsinclude:(1)operatingfullflow;(2)stagnantemptyvented;(3)stagnant,closedtoatmosphere,non-draindown;and(4)stagnant,closedtoatmosphere,draindown.1.3Therecommendedpracticescoverthefollowingthreetests:1.3.1PracticeALaboratoryExposureTestforCouponSpecimens.1.3.2PracticeBLaboratoryExposureTestofComponentsorSubcomponents.1.3.3PracticeCFieldExposureTestofComponentsorSubcomponents.1.4PracticeAprovidesalaboratorysimulationofvariousoperatingconditionsofsolarheatingandcoolingsystems.Itutilizescoupontestspecimensanddoesnotprovideforheatingofthefluidbythecontainmentmaterial.PracticeBprovidesalaboratorysimulationofvariousoperatingconditionsofasolarheatingandcoolingsystemutilizingacomponentorasimulatedsubcomponentconstruction,anddoesprovideforheatingofthefluidbythecontainmentmaterial.PracticeCprovidesafieldsimulationofvariousoperatingconditionsofsolarheatingandcoolingsystemsutilizingacomponentorasimulatedsubcomponentconstruction.Itutilizescontrolledschedulesofoperationinafieldtest.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForaspecificsafetyprecautionstatementseeSection6.
